These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PnL Bookkeeping website (pnlbookkeeping.com.au) and the professional services provided by PnL Bookkeeping ("we", "us", "our"), a bookkeeping business based in Perth, Western Australia.
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
PnL Bookkeeping provides fixed-fee bookkeeping, payroll management, BAS/IAS lodgement, and cashflow reporting services to Australian small and medium businesses. The specific scope of services, fees and delivery terms will be confirmed in a written engagement letter or service agreement provided to you before work commences.
We are a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). Our services are provided in accordance with the TPB's Code of Professional Conduct.
To enable us to deliver our services accurately and on time, you agree to:
We rely on the information you provide. We are not liable for errors or penalties arising from incomplete, inaccurate or late information supplied by you.
Our fees are fixed and agreed upon in advance. Fee schedules are set out in your engagement letter. We may review fees annually and will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any changes.
Invoices are issued monthly in advance (or as otherwise agreed). Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless stated otherwise. Overdue accounts may attract interest and we reserve the right to suspend services until outstanding amounts are settled.
We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your financial or business information to any third party except:
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, icons and images — is owned by or licensed to PnL Bookkeeping. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
Any templates, reports or tools we create for you as part of our services remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PnL Bookkeeping's liability for any claim arising from or in connection with our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three months prior to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. It does not constitute financial, legal or accounting advice and should not be relied upon as such. You should seek independent professional advice specific to your circumstances.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and up to date but make no warranties about its completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.
We are not responsible for the content of any external websites linked from our site.
Either party may terminate the engagement by providing 30 days' written notice. We reserve the right to terminate immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts owing, or provide information that is materially misleading.
Upon termination, you remain liable for all fees for work completed to the date of termination. We will return your records and provide a reasonable handover to a successor bookkeeper.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
